A Romantic Covington Kentucky Wedding

Tranquil. Peaceful. Calm. Serenity. These are not typically the adjectives I would use to describe most wedding days but for Emily and Tony, it was this and more. From the moment I stepped into the girls’ getting-ready room at Hotel Covington, I knew that this day was going to be a dream! And of course, I cried immediately upon locking eyes with Emily. I was flooded with radiant thoughts of sharing one of the most sacred days with my friends. Friends whom I adore, friends whom I cherish, friends whom I believe should have everything their hearts desire by God’s will.

Emily and Tony said “I do” at the gorgeous Cathedral Basilica of St. Peter in Chains, in Cincinnati, Ohio. This cathedral was straight out of a magazine! Enormous tall columns capped in gold, an extensive emerald-green aisle suitable for the queen, and the most mesmerizing sanctuary adorned with gold and the most luscious living plants. The ceremony was filled with the most ceremonious, traditional, playful, and romantic practices. This is exactly what I had hoped for this couple, a ceremony that reflected their affection and adoration for one another. It was a glorious celebration and a magnificent remembrance of God’s love for us and most importantly for Emily and Tony!

Emily and Tony,

Your reception at the Grand Ballroom was incredibly electric! It was probably the most fun I had at a reception, including my own. I almost forgot that I was working. I was rocking, laughing, crying, dancing, and singing among friends! Your wedding party was the best I have ever had. Everyone was friendly, inviting, and supportive! I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of your big day! It was an honor and a privilege to document and celebrate with you! Your wedding day was everything I imagined and more, from your details to your vendors! Your wedding also reminded me of how blessed I am to have this career because I get to serve amazing people like you! I hope you enjoy your photos as much as I do! I wish you many decades of love, happiness, and health! You two make a lovely couple and I am so thankful to call you friends! I am sending big hugs to you and your families! Congratulations and well wishes, my friends!

With love,

Iesha
