An Urban Senior Session- Newport, KY
For me and many others, senior year of high school was filled with life lessons, nerves, full task lists, and new adventures. When I think back to my senior year, I can’t help to think about my family and friends. I think about all the amazing memories shared among them and how they pushed me to make difficult yet rewarding decisions. The commemorations that I hold onto give me hope that every senior will have the same opportunity to maximize, make an impact, and curate the life they would want to have for themselves. Senior year tends to be the end of one chapter but also the beginning of the remainder of a beautiful story.
This was the perfect day in July to have a senior portrait session. The weather was amazingly warm but gentle. There was a tangible vibrancy in the air that provided ample energy. The colors at Newport on the Levee were so radiant, the sun was bright, and my senior was prepared. Isahia had a vision for his senior pictures and had the outfits to match. Can we talk about his style? Urban and eclectic, modern yet traditional, stylish and professional. This young man has it all. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Isahia. I almost forgot I was working with someone I hadn’t met. Isahia felt like my friend, better yet, my family.

You are one of the most incredible young men I’ve ever met. I am looking forward to hearing all about your goals and aspirations. I am even more excited to see them all come to fruition. Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your journey. If I could give you any advice/encouragement going into this senior year, it would be that you are stronger than any obstacle that may come your way. Keep your faith and you will preserve. Have an amazing senior year! I am rooting for you!
