There is something so simple yet profound about laughter. The kind of laughter that bubbles up when we’re tickled and can’t help but smile. In those moments of pure joy, we are reminded that God delights in our happiness. Just as Scripture says, “A cheerful heart is good medicine” (Proverbs 17:22), the giggles and laughter from tickling reflect the lightness and love He desires for us. These handsome little guys made me forget that I was working, and all I could do was laugh while in their presence.
Tickling may seem small, but it is a reminder that joy is contagious, and when shared, it glorifies God. Each smile and burst of laughter becomes an offering of gratitude, showing that His presence is not only in solemn worship but also in the playful moments that knit our hearts together.

What a blessing it is to grow alongside you and your young men. It’s amazing to remember that just over three years ago, I met your sons for the first time. Wow. Time has truly flown! As they grow in faith and wisdom, I pray they always respect you, bring honor to your family, and that their actions align with God’s covenantal promises for them. I pray they love all people as God loves His church, bringing joy to the world through their smiles, words, and conduct.
Thank you for allowing me to be part of the community that helps nurture the development of your young men. It is an honor to be a part of the upbringing of our future leaders. With that being said, you all are cherished and, most importantly, loved! May we continue to embrace these little sparks of joy, knowing they bring delight to our families and honor to the One who created us to laugh, love, and live fully. Thank you for the gentle reminder!
